The Master Designer

Today I’ve been reading over my old journal entries, personal studies, and the like. It’s been an especially neat experience to look back and reflect and remember. The resounding theme of my day’s readings has certainly been gratitude for the Master Designer.

This week has been a tough one at times, between being away from my sweetheart, cramming work and school in, preparing a primary lesson, and dealing with finances it’s felt like a bit of a doozy. In looking back I’ve realized that I have no need to worry or fear. There exists a Master Designer. One who knows the intricacy of his field and who pays incredible attention to detail. Really, He is the designer that we all hope to be like.

His design for my life has been flawless thus far, mind you I’ve not always kept with his design, sometimes I’ve violated his style guide and used things He’s given me improperly. But when I choose to follow his design’s every detail I find happiness, calm, and comfort.

The Master Designer understands both the form and function of life. He has given me a life that is not only beautiful when I look at it, but also that serves the incredibly useful purpose of helping me to grow.

In his style of simplicity I wish to express but one thing today, and that is to say “Thank You.”

Funny how the both of us individually and separately blogged about the same thing today. I’m glad to know we’re on the same page sweetheart and that we really are equally yoked. I love you!
